Nancy Guzzaldo – Sugi Yoga® Instructor

Nancy Guzzaldo -  Sugi Yoga® and Pretzel Kids© Instructor -  teaches adult, family and children’s yoga

I have been practicing yoga since 1995, most of that time with Sugi Yoga®. Sugi is my preferred method of yoga because I do not have to subject my body to the demanding rigors of more traditional yoga practices. I enjoy the freedom of movement and flexibility that makes Sugi Yoga the yoga that everyone can do.
Due to multiple surgeries and all the aches and pains that come with getting older, I found that I was unwilling to do traditional exercises. After doing a Sugi Yoga class, I would find myself relaxed and limber instead of wincing and limping back to my car. I would love for all my students to reap the benefits of Sugi Yoga® and to be able to practice at home as well as in class.

Jan Enderle

Jan Enderle – Sugi Yoga® Instructor

Jan Enderle -  Sugi Yoga® Instructor yoga classes, private sessions, yoga hikes

I attended my first Sugi Yoga class in 2003 because age was catching up with me. Twenty-five years of landscaping and nursery work had left me with haunting injuries. Aches and pains from a lifetime of the ‘no-pain-no-gain’ attitude in my fitness routine (yes, that included yoga) never went away. After that class, the chronic pain and soreness in my shoulder, back and ankles subsided. Weekly yoga became more than a practice, it was a joyful retreat – I wanted more and more. In 2004, I took Sugi Yoga Teacher training strictly to deepen my own yoga practice, but discovered along the way that my natural path was to teach others. I am grateful for following that path, and my heart, every day.

I still work at a local nursery, and teach about Native and Wildlife Habitats and Organic Sustainable Gardening. I belong to a local Community Supported Agriculture group and love to cook with fresh local vegetables. I hike with my

Karen Rezai – Flower Essence Consultant

Karen Rezai, MPH – Flower Essence Practitioner – offers private consultations for flower essence therapy integrated with Reiki and Shamanic healing practices

Born into a mixed-culture family, I naturally enjoy exploring how different communities practice health and wellness and have done so from childhood on. To me, health and wellness is best viewed holistically, taking the physical body, emotions, mental outlook, attitudes, and spiritual understanding into account.

I have found flower essences to be an incredible path for achieving mental, emotional, and spiritual balance. When I first heard about flower essences I didn’t think they could help, but my personal experiences with them soon changed my mind. They worked! Over time, I’ve seen them help clients with depression, fears, grief, trauma, transitions, creativity, pregnancy, birthing, speech challenges, and much, much more. Flower essences are gentle and safe and can be easily used with adults, children, and pets. They can also be used in conjunction with other healing modalities.

Depending on a client’s needs, I integrate my flower essence work with Reiki, Shamanic, and intuitive practices. I love working with both adults and children.

In addition to health, holistic parenting is a strong passion of mine. I founded the East Bay Area Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network and am a full-time, homeschooling mother to my beautiful son. I enjoy every minute he and I spend learning about life together.
